He is known for inventing YouTube videos that feature expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson posted his first videos on YouTube when he was 13 using the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content consisted of Let's Plays and video that analyzed the wealth of other YouTubers. In 2017, his "counting up to 100,000" YouTube video was viewed by millions. He was 13 years old old and used the handle "MrBeast6000". His first videos included Let's plays and videos that analyzed other YouTubers' wealth. Donaldson has enlisted a number of old friends to help him manage the expanding brand once it was launched. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
