Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was editor and author and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's dad was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder as well as her entire family moved to Mendocino County in California at the age of seven. Ryder was just seven. At the time, there were no electric lights. Ryder, who loved reading when she was 12, became a bookworm due to the fact that Ryder had no access to television. Ryder began taking acting lessons at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of 12. In 1986 she landed her first role on the big screen in the movie Lucas at just 15 years old. Ryder was bullied at her high school. She hoped acting could bring change. However, it didn't occur. But she continued to chase her goals. In 1988, it was the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder continued to play successful roles in many movies. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
